Dr. Dhruv Mehta
Dr. Dhruv Mehta has an oncology experience spanning over 10+ years that started with a strong interest in the field of cancer cure since medical school, when he used to assist in colectomies and Whipple procedures. He now applies broad expertise from chemotherapy and immunotherapy to pediatric care and BMT in supporting patients through difficult cancers with reliable, caring guidance. Being the 3rd DM oncologist in Southern Gujarat, he learned more about specialty care in the region while presenting and publishing through research. His persistence for contribution and learning is seen in the research papers, conference presentations, and continuous work in clinical trials nationally and internationally. Dr. Dhruv applies this knowledge to empower, educate, and guide the patients nationally through teleconsultation, preventive sessions, and screening programs in the underserved regions of Gujarat.

SGHOC is a doctor driven initiative set up in 2023 to provide affordable, globally benchmarked cancer care. What started as a mission to deliver cost-effective, world-class cancer care became a 9-bed day-care center, six beds for adults and three for children, designed around people and not just protocols. The treatment cycle of chemotherapy is managed by two chemotherapy nurses to give equal and utmost care to adults and children. Strengthening its clinical backbone, the laboratory is fully equipped with modern technologies, such as a 7-part hematology analyzer, biochemistry systems, hormone and tumor marker testing, urine analyzers, and coagulometers that guarantee speed and precision in results. It has an in-house pharmacy that offers reliable, premium generics, biologics, and immunotherapies sourced from FDA-inspected units. Already operational is a cancer wing in Valsad, and more are to come across Varachha, Bardoli, Navsari, Vapi, Daman-Silvassa, Nandurbar, and Ankleshwar-Bharuch.
